Aims to become a one-stop portal site for S&T information in Japan. Provides S&T related news, interviews with researchers, special topics on research results and trends, press releases of S&T related public institutions, introduction of major databases(on papers, patents, or research results), information on research support systems including funding, information about research and educational posting offers and applications, and listing of events such as academic conferences and symposiums, etc.
Lists and links to organizations or institutes related to the Council established in 1949 as a special agency under the jurisdiction of the prime minister to promote science in government, industry and everyday life. It represents Japanese scientists at home and abroad with the philosophy that science is the foundation upon which a civilized nation can be built.
