| Abstract;This article reports the activities and discussions made at the 22nd DAVIC Florida meeting in September, 1998. DAVIC is the international standardization forum for interactive digital-video networking and delivery services and systems. Based on "TV Anytime/Anywhere" services and systems concept, where anyone can access to TV programs at anytime and from anywhere via the network, technical discussions proceeded for "local (In-home) storage-based systems", "DAVIC intranet", and more. 15 baseline documents were produced at the meeting, including 5 brand-new ones, which can be the basis for the technical specifications to be issued as DAVIC1.5 CD-ROM at the 1999 April meeting in Japan. The DAVIC Strategic Planning and Advisory Committee(SPAC) was reorganized at the Florida meeting with new members and started its discussion on the directions for DAVIC1.6 and the beyond.
