Abstract;For representation of 3-dimensional solid objects, shape model that is able to describe the objects preciously is needed and also operations for the solid are required. Especially when the model is used in CAD/CAM systems, it is important to avoid calculation burst caused by numerical error and to construct consistent shapes. The subjects of this research are developments of robust algorithms for generations of features and set-operations on face based shape model that was reported previously. In this paper, we describe the developed algorithms for the above operations. Moreover, we describe an implementation of filet surfaces and offset surfaces with their applications. (author abst.)
