Abstract;In this paper, we derive efficient quadratic and quartic iteration algorithms from improvement of the Gauss's arithmetic-geometric mean algorithm. We also derive an efficient simultaneous Newton iteration for radical root calculation and implement a fast multiple-precision computation. (author abst.)
