Abstract;Microporous Ti-Si mixed oxides with high surface areas and uniformly-controlled pore structures were prepared by the calcination of a titanium-containing oligosilsesquioxane with a cubic core structure, CpTi(R7Si7O12)(R=c-C5H9) 1b. The mixed oxide materials prepared from the silica-supported 1b or vanadium-containing oligosilsesquioxane, V(O)(R7Si7O12)(R=c-C5H9) 2b, possessed larger surface areas than the parent supports.
