| Abstract;More eccentric rotating plug valves have recently replaced of control valves. Since a rotating valve has smaller bottleneck within the valve and creates linear flow, the valve capacity becomes larger, while this valve has a defect that jumping might be caused when the valve opens due to large slide frictional force between the valve and the valve seat. "G.R.II", an eccentric rotating plug valve newly commercialized by Motoyama Factory, makes an adjustable valve easier-to-use than ever, since its advantage of large valve capacity is saved and defects peculiar to rotating valves are drastically removed. This paper presents its features, specifications and performance evaluation data. |
