Abstract;Demands for typical type of flowmeter are enumerated from viewpoint of operator.Problems concerning designing, specification required by manufacturer, alternation resulted from efficiency and price, related to typical type of instruments, orifice type-, vortex type-, electromagnetic type- and Coriolis type flowmeter, and future expectation are described.Significance of technical service by manufacturer to operator, direct transmission of operator needs to manufacturer and avoiding catalog shopping are described.
