Abstract;Reforming monomer flowmeter to maintenance-free was carried out to improve plant operation effeciency.Reexamination of conventional differential pressure venturi tube was carried out based on practical use and construction expenses reduction. Ultrasonic vortex flowmeter was adopted based on examination of exchanging cables, introduction of novel instruments and exchangeability of sensors.Sensors at outer side are excangeable without stopping operation. This instrument has features similar to conventional vortex flowmeter and yet more inexpensive.
