Abstract;Features of new instrumentation, " connecting pipe-less flowmeter " and " connecting pipe-less levelmeter " using differential pressure transmitter and their application to TCO reduction are described. Former instrument has reduced constraints in mounting resulted from weight reduction of sealing part using small-diameter diaphragm. Temperature characteristics were improved by changing design and error correction of microprocessor. On latter level meter, blockage and corrosion were prevented using liquid level transmitter installed small diaphragm seal on low-pressure-side. Temperature error was corrected applying capillary. TCO reduction was carried out by instrumenting without three-way- valve.
