Abstract;Electrotechnical Lab. intelligent system department, carries forward research and development of high-skill manipulation, environmental recognition, motion planning technology, etc. as basic research on a robot for plants. The Lab. has recently developed an assembly work system by a robot equipped with intelligent functions by integrating a part of elemental techniques which have been conducted until now. In this system, a robot can infer operation procedures in conducting work, and in addition, when a robot can not infer, human can teach work operation to a robot by HMI using virtual reality technology. This paper reports the state mainly by photograph.
