| Abstract;Industrial personal computers based on WindowsNT which are excellent in cost-performance, reliability, and real time appeared; therefore, equipment from a line control server which was constructed by UNIX server until now to facility control equipment which was constructed by PLC of each company and exclusive hardware were able to be constructed by open industrial personal computers. Coupled with standardization of networks in the field of control, opening/multi- bender of control systems will rapidly develop in future. This paper describes problems of FA opening, development of industrial personal computers and utilization as a core component, and WindowsNT and autonomic operation of realtime OS. |
