Abstract;The mass production age has changed to the variety variable production age, in which cost reduction should be considered from the viewpoint of the total. As requirements for production shops, there are several matteres to be incorporated in design concepts.This paper takes up elements as the key, and presents an outline of equipment to cope with open networks and system management tools of Digital Co.. This paper also describes TCO(Total Cost of Ownership) and supply chain, opening equipment products of Digital Co., and system quality control maintenance by system management tools.
