| Abstract;Plants of the Kureha Chemical Industry Nishiki factory ( Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture ) are operated continuously for 24 hours by a 5-duty 4-shift system. DCS was introduced into all plants for labor saving of operation. Improvement of reliability of the CRT operation is an important theme from the beginning of DCS introduction. This paper mainly presents experiences on improvement of reliability of CRT operation. This paper presents challenges to reliability improvement ( removal of unstable factors, review of existing alarms, function enhancement of alarms ), actual challenge cases ( present state of alarm, reduction measures for alarms ), and results of alarm reduction. |
