Abstract; In the rapid construction of the bottom for the purpose of the water cut-off at vertical shaft of great depth underground, the underwater non-segregation concrete of about 1800m3 using the high-early-strength Portland cement in order to finish early the pumping up was placed. The mixtures are of a water cement ratio 50%, a unit cement content 440kg/m3, a unit quantity of water 220kg/m3, the largest aggregate 20mm, a slump flow 50cm, the design strength 24N/mm2. In the present rapid construction, the homogeneous placing management by cleaning of the caisson edge tips, rapid response to the change of the quality of the underwater non-segregation concrete and adoptation of high-early-strength cement of good early age strength were effective.
