| Abstract;This paper presents the general situation of soild/groundwater pollution by heavy metal and volatile organic compound, and technology in Japan. Technology for prevention of pollution of heavy metal and others was roughly divided into purification technologycontainment technology, while that for prevention of pollution by volatile organic compound was divided into in situ countermeasure and processing. Individual technologies are outlined. |
