Abstract;The following are introduced : Principle of electroendosmose of soil gap water and ionic electrophoresis, characteristics of polluted soil restoration procedure by electroendosmose and electrophoresis and present state of polluted soil restoration technique. This paper presents the existing situation that the technology has not diffused yet in spite of the fact purification of polluted soil is successfully conducted owing to the technology. As problems to be solved for establishment of this technology,Precipitation prevention of hydroxide near a cathode, establishment of supply method of water discharged by electroendosmose, improvement of pollutant removal efficiency and simulations of decontamination process and others are explained.
