| Abstract; As pollution abatement processing of soil contaminated by mercury, new purification processing technology based on the basic concept that mercury is removed from polluted soil is devised. Experimental resultas by a demonstrative plant using this processing technology is reported. In this processing, it is possible to satisfy mercury content reference (3mg/kg) of soil environment standard in a short time when heating polluted soil to over 275.DEG.C. while flowing air capacity of about 100m3/h under the existence of ferric sulfide. Utilization of rotary kiln as a heating system improves reaction promotion of additives. |
