| Abstract;Bio-treatability experiments were carried out to evaluate applicability of insitu bioremediation technology to the field polluted by trichloroethylene (TCE), and demonstration experiment was conducted on the basis of the results. Fundamentally, methanotroph inhabiting in a polluted field is used for microorganisms which decompose TCE to proliferate and activate them in situ.In a demonstration experiment, in situ proliferation and activation of methanotroph was successful. This paper suggests that the fungi proliferated in situ functioned as TCE tropholytic layer. |
