Abstract; The purpose of this paper is to specify the requirements for on-line guidance. We supposed that two factors are important which have an effect on the usability of on-line guidance [1]. One is the timing when the guidance is presented, another is the way the information is expressed. In this paper, we focused the way the information is expressed. And we conducted a psychological experiment with the guidance. The result showed that the purpose-oriented guidance is easy to understand. (author abst.)
