Abstract;New optical oxygen sensor based on the quenching of triplet-triplet (T-T) ahsorption of fullerene (C60) molecules by oxygen using laser flash photolysis has been developed. The lifetime of T-T absorption of 60 in polystyrene decreases with an increase of oxygen concentrations. A Stern-Volmer plot of C60 exhibits considerable linearity (r2=0.999) and Ksv is estimated to be 0.50%-1, indicating that C60 film is high sensitive oxygen sensor. (author abst.)
