| Abstract;Toyota Motor Corp. formed "the recycling committee" in the company in October 1990, to strengthen the challenging recycling activities in the whole stage of life cycle of development, production, use and disposal. The trend of recycling technology in each stage is introduced: On the development stage, the development and integration of materials easy to recycle, the design conscious of recycling, and the design with concern for environmental loading are described. On the production stage, the recycling of resin and rubber materials are explained. On the use stage, the recovery and recycling of bumpers and the decomposition technique of coating films are described. On the disposal stage, the research on dismantlement technology and the utilization technology of shredder dust are described. |
