| Abstract; For the problem of dioxin, bag filter (BF) is employed in the dust collector for soot removal at present. This article describes the removal characteristics of NOx using catalyst BF that aims at simultaneous processing of dust and hazardous constituents. Babcock Hitachi developed the Ti system catalyst that has high NOx removing ability at low temperature and employed for BF. Nonwoven fabrics of polyimide and other materials are suitable for filter base of catalyst BF, which catalyst adheres on the surface of nonwoven fabric's fiber. On the ability of NOx removal, the relation between temperature and removal efficiency is explained. On the retention of the catalyst, the relation between back washing frequency and supported-catalyst quantity is described. In addition, an application example of catalyst BF to a refuse incinerator exhaust gas treatment system is described. |
