Abstract; The waste plastic application technique to fuel in cement kiln was developed. Since halogen badly affects the quality and manufacturing of cement, thermoplastic resins without containing halogen were used. Hard waste plastic was crushed into a particle size of 25 mm or less and thin waste plastic into a piece of 30 mm or less. Crushed waste plastic was pushed out by the fixed quantity feeder, carried by air, and blown from the nozzle for waste plastic into the kiln. In a demonstration experiment, this recycling was possible without problem. Advantages of this technique are processing of large volume, complete combustion of combustible components, no air pollution, effective use of heat capacity for cement baking and its residue as a cement raw material, high heat recovery efficiency, use of waste plastic of large sizes, and unnecessary installation of new incinerator. An issue is the establishment of waste plastic collection system.
