Abstract; This article referrs to 8 elements of gold (Au), silver (Ag), platinum group metals (Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Ru, Os) as noble metals. Gold is excellent in conductivity and environment resistance, and chiefly used for electronic products. Noble metals do not pollute the environment, and the effective use of these resources is the reason why the recycling is necessary. Noble metals are used in substrates and contacts. 400-500g of gold, 2000g of silver and 20g of Pd may be collected from 1 ton of substrates, if parts in which noble metals are used in large amounts are selected. For recovery and purification of noble metals, the quantities of them contained in recovered products are estimated, and noble metals are roughly separated and refined better than the distributed base metal. Three requests from the company that recovers noble metals are described.
