| Abstract;As an example aiming at the harmony of concrete and landscape, this paper picks up a color and landscape plan by masonry block and introduces some examples; sidewalks in a residential section in Rochester of U.S.A, a gentle slope part of Tamagawa river in Tokyo, a sidewalk in the shopping center of Frankfurt in Germany, the retaining wall of la willete park in Paris, garden furnitur and bollards in Bordeaux, the retaining wall of Sapporo Art Woods, aqueduct in Merida, Spain, etc.. And, New Splitten Block developed was used for the construction of a road improvement undetaking in Okaya City of Nagano Prefecture and for large region park gland field in Mobara City of Chiba Prefecture. It was awarded the good design special prize of Small and Medium Enterprise Agency dirctor general of the public space department in fiscal 1998. |
