| Abstract;A 83-year-old woman with the complaint of urethral bleeding was referred to our clinic by a gynecologist in our hospital under the histological diagnosis of malignant melanoma. A tumor was identified at her external meatus. IVP and pelvic CT scan were unremarkable. Tumor excision was performed, and the excised tumor measured 30*25*15mm. During the 7th month after surgery, local recurrence occurred and IFN-.BETA. injections were given. This is 23rd case of female urethral melanoma to be published in the Japanese literature.
