Abstract;From its parts, the authors produced a two-phase ac freely-moving-on-surface plane linear guiding motor, which freely runs and moves on the flat plane, and controlled its movements by hand and by personal computer. This paper outlines how this motor was produced and how it is controlled by PC and examines the effects when it is used as a control teaching material at which study of practical education aims. Confirmation of the control mode obtained by the control experiment and actual moving experiment at a full speed are presented.
