Abstract;Kawasaki Heavy Industries developed an automatic raw material supply equipment to automate the waste raw material supply to a crusher in which manual operation is the mainstream on waste crushing process facilities. This paper prsented the conceptual scheme of the automated system and the hardware configuration of the automated equipment and outlined the system configuration and the automated system for the measurement of the holdup before the roll feeder and measurement of the size of the raw material. The crush control method of small-to-medium-size and large raw materials was introduced on the control system of the automated system constituted by simulating the operation of skilled operators.
