Abstract;The status of the development of a high temperature filter for dust removal in the superheating tube inlet by the cooperation of Takuma Co., Ltd. and Kyocera Corp. was introduced. It suppresses the generation of dioxines and aquires high temperature steam in refuse incinerators. The present refuse incineration adopts a stoker type system usin bag filter to remove dioxines. Effect and necessity of dust removal at a higher temperature were explained. The test result of the developed high temperature filter in an actual incinerator was outlined on chemical resistance in high temperature of 900-1000.DEG.C., filter differential pressure, dust collection performance, dust shake performance by the aeropulse system in case of the use of cordierite as a material.
