| Abstract;A case of leiomyosarcoma of the small intestine with urinary disturbance is reported. A 51-year-old man complained of urinary disturbance and lower stomachache. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a postvesical mass. Open laparotomy was performed, revealing a soft tissue mass which had originated from the ileum and made a 360.DEG. counterclockwise rotation on the axis of its stalk. The tumor was excised and the pathological diagnosis was leiomyosarcoma. (author abst.) |
