Abstract;A 29-year-old man visited another hospital with the chief complaints of left abdominal pain and high fever. Ultrasonography revealed a mass lesion at the upper pole of the left kidney. He was referred to our department for further examination and treatment. Left adrenal cyst was suspected from ultrasonography, CT scan, MRI and angiography. Hormonal studies were within normal ranges. Adrenalectomy was performed. Grossly, the surgical specimen measured 7*7*5cm and the cyst contained bloody liquid. Histological findings showed that the cyst wall was composed of granulation tissue and fibrous elements with no epithelium and so this adrenal cyst was classified as pseudocyst of the adrenal gland. We describe the clinical and pathological features of adrenal pseudocyst. (author abst.)
