Abstract;Anterior urethral polyps are rare and usually associated with hematuria, voiding obstruction and pain. An 80-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of gross hematuria. Under the diagnosis of left ureteral stone by IVP, a rice grain-sized polyp-like tumor was observed at the anterior urethra near to the membranous urethra by urethrocystoscopy. Following transurethral reseaction, a histological diagnosis of urethral polyp was made. The literature regarding both clinical and pathological features of anterior urethral polyp is also reviewed.
