| Abstract;A 45-year-old man with the chief complaint of urinary retention was referred to our hospital in April, 1992. Prostatic needle biopsy revealed leiomyoma. Retropublic enucleation of the prostatic tumor was performed on May 28, 1992. The tumor weight 150g and the histopathological findings demonstrated malignant mesenchymoma. Radical cystoprostatectomy was performed and postoperative pelvic irradiation was carrid out. Two months after the operation, local recurrence was found and 3 courses of CYVADIC chemotherapy regimen were give. However, the pelvic mass continued to increase in size and the patient died on August 13, 1993. (author abst.) |
