| Abstract; We report a case of primary malignant lymphoma of the urinary bladder. A 75-year-old woman presented with pollakisuria and painful urination on January 6, 1994. Cystoscopic examination suggested multiple invasive bladder tumors. Pathological diagnosis of transurethral biopsy specimens was non-Hodgikin's lymphoma, diffuse, medium-sized cell type, B-cell type by classification of LSG (The Lymphoma and Leukemia Study Group of Japan). Subsequently, she underwent abdominal and chest CT, systemic Ga scintigraphy, bone scan, bone marrow aspiration and upper gastrointestinal barium study, all of which showed normal findings. She received local radiation treatment (total 50Gy) to the bladder. At transurethral biopsy on April 8, complete remission was noted. After 4 years' follow-up, she has no evidence of recurrence.
