| Abstract;A case of myelolipoma surrounding the bilateral kidneys associated with Crow-Fukase syndrome is reported. A 33-year-old male suffering from muscle weakness and edema of the extremities was admitted to our hospital in 1987. He showed polyneuropathy, hepatosplenomegaly, monoclonal gammopathy (IgA-.LAMBDA. type), plasmacytoma in the sacral region, and atypical plasma cells in the bone marrow. According to these findings, this case was diagnosed as Crow-Fukase syndrome. Although prednisolone therapy following surgical treatment of plasmacytoma improved the symptoms, he complained of abdominal fullness and back pain in 1997. CT scan and MR imaging revealed heterogeneous lesions involving multiple masses around the bilateral kidneys. An aspiration needle biopsy of these masses was performed under the guidance of CT scan. The histopathological findings of the masses showed myelolipomas. We performed bilateral tumor resections and right nephrectomy. His clinical symptoms were improved after the operation.
