| Abstract;Effect of fluorine atom on stereoselectivity of reduction of ketones containing fluorine atom by a crude alcohol dehydrogenase from Geotrichum candidum has been investigated. Reduction of trifluoromethyl ketones gives the corresponding alcohols of the opposite configuration to those from methyl ketones. (author abst.) |
