| Abstract;It was found that decarbonylation reaction of perfluoroacyl iodides occurred when heated with copper powder to give corresponding perfluoroalkyl iodides in quantitative yields. If this decarbonylation reaction is carried out in the presence of olefins such as ethylene, propylene, vinyl fluoride and vinylidene fluoride, decarbonylative addition reaction occurred to give corresponding adducts of the olefins with iodides in good to excellent yields.
