Abstract;Acylation of aromatic compounds with fluorine contained .BETA.-propiolactone smoothly proceeds to give the corresponding acylated chlorodifluoromethyl carbinol. Radical cyclization of allyl ethers derived from chiral chlorodifluoromethyl carbinols gives oxygen contained 5-membered heterocycles in good yields. Further intermolecular radical reaction of bromodifluoromethyl carbinol with allyltributyltin gave the corresponding of allyl substituted compounds in reasonable yields. (author abst.)
