| Abstract;Phosdiesterase type4 (PDE4) which selectively hydrolyzes cyclic AMP might play an important role in natural transmission. PDE4 inhibitor, KF19316, was labeled by fluorin-18 for the noninvasive imaging of cAMP dependent neural activity by positron emission tomography. was obtained from KF19316 and 4-[18F]fluorobenzylidodide (FBI) which was prepared by 3-step synthesis from [18F]fluoride. Radiochemical yield of [18F]KF19316 was ranged from 80 to 90 % based on total FBI. The regional brain distribution of [18F]KF19316 were consistent to the [3H]rolipram binding sites. (author abst.) |
