| Abstract;Fluoroalkylated end-capped acrylamide oligomers were prepared by the reaction of fluoroalkanoyl peroxides with N-(1,1-dimethyl-3-oxobutyl)acrylamide,N-(2-hydroxylpropyl)methacrylamide, or N,N-(2,2-dihydroxyethyl)acrylamide. These fluorinated oligomers thus obtained were able to reduce the surface tension of xylene or water, effectively. Therefore, these oligomers are useful for novel fluorinated oligomeric surfactants. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that these oligomers form the molecular aggregates, and metal ions act as guest molecules for these aggregates. (author abst.) |
