Abstract;The reaction of a hexafluoropropene-diethyl amine adduct (PPDA) with propargyl alcohols in the presence of N,N-diisopropylethlamines afforded 2-fluoro-2-trifluoromethyl-3,4-alkadienamides in good yields. When 2-butyn-1,4-diol was applied to the reaction, 1,3-diene was afforded as a major product along with 3-hydroxymethyl-3,4-pentadienamide. (author abst.)
