| Abstract;We have prepared .ALPHA.-fluorovinylphosphonium salts as a versatile F-containing building block from 1,1-difluoroethylene in two steps. The use of these .ALPHA.-fluorovinylphosphonium salts in fluoroethylene derivative synthesis was demonstrated by the Wittig reaction. The desired products were obtained in high yields.
