| Abstract;Solvothermal reactions of .ALPHA.- and.BETA.-tricalcium bis(orthophosphate) (.ALPHA.-TCP, .BETA.-TCP) in the presence of ammonium fluoride were investigated in water-1-octanol biphasic system. The formations of fluoridated hydroxyapatite (FHAP) from both TCP were confirmed by X-ray diffractometry. The transformations of .ALPHA.- and.BETA.-TCP to FHAP depended on the intial fluoride ion concentration and reaction temperature. The reactiions of .ALPHA.-TCP showed unique dependence on the reaction temperature by the variation of the initial concentration of fluoride ion. (author abst.) |
