Abstract;It was tried to fluorinate the surface of the active material such as LiCoO2 and LiMn2O4 with NF3 and ClF3. From the results of SEM observation, XRD and XPS measurements, it was found that fluorine can be introduced to the surface of the lithium continuing complex oxide such as LiCoO2 and LiMn2O4 by reaction with NF3 and ClF3 without changing the crystal structure. The various surface conditions were achieved under various conditions. From the results of charge and discharge measurements and cyclicvoltammetry, these various electrochemical properties must arise from the variousness of the surface condition. (author abst.)
