Abstract;Tungstic acid dispersed on fluoroapatite solid phase catalyzed the epoxidations of alkenes and allylic alcohols with solid urea-hydrogen peroxide complex. The epoxidations of allylic alcohols proceeded smoothly in pseudo-solid phase without solvent at room temperature. Silica gel, calcium fluoride, aluminum fluoride, and hydroxyapatite etc. were used to the reaction instead of fluoroapatite, and among them fluoroapatite was the most effective as a solid phase.
