Abstract;This paper proposes prediction formura of self contraction strain considering the type of cement and water cement ratio and examines accuracy of the prediction formura using the past measurement data.In the case that the concrete has usual unit aggregate volume using normal Portland cements by 20-60% water cement ratio, the accuracy of the self contraction strain can be practically satisfied. The method for evaluating the effect of temperature of the concrete on the self contraction adopting the effective age is proposed and applied to estimate the self contraction strain of large member. As the result, the evaluation by coefficient .GAMMA. can be seemed that testimation of the effect of the type of cements and admixtures on the self contraction is evaluated to be useful.
