| Abstract;Metal mold can be divided into die for metal press and mold for plastics molding. Metal mold manufacturing consists of mold design and die machining, as well as finish and assembly. The relationship between school education and on-the-job training is explained. Basic concept in on-the-job training, examples of mold design, and machining of metallic parts are shown. The actual state of on-the-job training are exemplified. |
