| Abstract;The machining accuracy required in machining becomes severe. Therefore, the effects of heat on machine tool can not be neglected. For suppressing the thermal deformation of machine tool, it is necessary to divide the heat to internal heat source and external heat source. Using a tank model, the prevention measure against the thermal deformation by internal heat source is shown. The following are explained : Thermal energy balance of machine tool, formation of transmission from machine tool surface, concept of heat rigidity, relationship between thermal quantity and thermal deformation, approach to fluctuating heat source, and thermal deformation control. |
