| Abstract;Cement industry of China has developed remarkably for recent 40 years to reach output of 510 million tons in 1997. Present state and problems are outlined. Shaft kiln produicng 80% of output is inferior in energy efficiency to come into serious problems.Demand, however, is increasing through active construction of infrastructure. Therefore, efforts to technology development and basic research aiming at improving cement quality and manufacturing process should be incressed markedly. |
