Abstract;Long term water budget and land cover change was examined in the Doki river watershed using Landsat TM data. Most land cover is composed of forest in this watershed. After only 4% area of the total watershed was developed from forest to golf courses for a few years, serious hydrological change occurred in this area. The development of golf courses with deforestation might cause such drastic run off change. (author abst.)
